What is REHACARE 2026?

REHACARE is an international trade fair for rehabilitation, prevention, inclusion and care. Organizations and exhibitors from around the world present products, services and innovations that contribute to a more independent and comfortable daily life.

The trade fair focuses on, among other things:

Who is REHACARE interesting for?

The trade fair is interesting for everyone who is personally or professionally involved in mobility, independence and care.

Think of wheelchair and mobility scooter users, people with a physical disability, caregivers, family members, therapists, healthcare professionals, healthcare institutions and providers of aids.

Online you can find a lot of information, but an aid or comfort product must above all fit the user in practice. During REHACARE you can take a closer look at products, compare them and discuss them with the people who develop them.

The Belieff Wheelchair Poncho is specially designed for use in a wheelchair. The extra-long design protects the body, legs and feet.

The sleeves offer freedom of movement and thanks to the front zipper, the poncho is easier to put on and take off. The water-repellent outer layer and soft fleece lining together provide protection and comfort.

Which electric heating solution is right for you? The complete guide to help you choose

When you spend a long time in a wheelchair or mobility scooter, your back, seat, legs and feet can quickly feel cold. A regular blanket helps retain body heat, but sometimes active electric heat is more comfortable. Belieff has several cordless heating solutions. Some products heat one specific area. Others combine electric heat with a full blanket or footmuff. Which version is best for you depends mainly on three questions: Which part of your body do you want to heat? Do you want to use the product on its own or attach it to a blanket? Are you looking for simple heat or multiple adjustable heat settings? In this selection guide, we first explain the key terms. Heating area This indicates which part of the body the product mainly heats: Back: targeted heat behind the upper body. Seat: heat where you sit. Legs: heat over or around the upper and lower legs. Feet: heat and protection around the feet. Hands: heated handmuffs or heat around the hands. Separate or integrated Separate heating productYou use the product separately in a wheelchair, mobility scooter, chair or at home. Some models can also be attached to a suitable Belieff blanket. Integrated heatingThe heating is built directly into the product. You do not need to add a separate heating element, as with the heated blanket with footmuff. Heat settings Some products have three adjustable heat settings. This allows you to determine how much heat is emitted. Other products only have an on/off button. These are easier to operate, but give you less choice in temperature. Duration The duration depends on: The selected heat setting. The capacity of the battery or powerbank. The outside temperature. The conditions of use. The way the product is positioned. “Up to 7 hours” therefore does not mean that the product will continue to heat for exactly seven hours under all circumstances. Powerbank or battery Always check what is included when making your choice: A powerbank. A specific battery with charger. Or no power supply at all. A product without an included powerbank may have a lower purchase price, but still requires a suitable separate power source. Frequently asked questions What is the difference between a heating pad and a heated footmuff? A heating pad provides targeted heat in a chosen place, such as your back, seat or legs. A heated footmuff encloses a larger part of the lower body and, with the Heated Footmuff, also heats the hands, legs and feet. Which Belieff product provides the longest heat? The Belieff Heating Pad and Heated Footmuff provide up to seven hours of heat on the lowest setting according to the product specifications. The actual duration may vary depending on the temperature, circumstances and placement. Which product is the easiest to operate? The Sit & Heat Heating Mat only has an on/off button. The other main heating products have multiple heat settings or a more extensive integrated system. Is a powerbank or battery included with every product? No. The Belieff Heating Pad, Sit & Heat Heating Mat and heated footmuff come with a power supply. For the Heating for seat and back, the powerbank must be purchased separately. Can I attach a Heating Pad to any Belieff product? Almost, but not all. Attachment is only possible with models that have suitable Velcro points for this, such as the blankets and ponchos. The Belieff Heating Pad, for example, is not intended for attachment to the Regencape.  Which solution is suitable for back and seat? The Belieff cordless heating pad was specifically developed to heat both areas. The regular Belieff Heating Pad is more flexible to position, but does not form the same combined back and seat model.
